SelfPoint Sanctuary is a collaboration between myself and my fellow artist Oliwia Ligenza. It was born during a time of great uncertainty for us both, at the peak of isolation in 2021, and when we were both struggling with identity and sense of self. Therefore, we decided to create a cult of identity. It is meant to serve as an archive of ourselves, an external manifestation of our internal struggles. The collaborative nature of this project served as a contrast to the personal subject matter. How far can one go to connect with another person? At what point do the boundaries melt away?

The project consisted of creating a website, Instagram and YouTube page. We aimed to confuse the viewer into not being able to tell whether SelfPoint is fact or fiction.
