Soviet Dream was a collaboration with Oliwia Ligenza, an artist from Poland (https://oliwialigenza.wixsite.com/mysite). It dealt with themes of propaganda, censorship, media, nostalgia and feeling of home. Throughout the project we used different methods to explore out connection to our past and the Soviet Union. We created a communist Instagram account where we collected data about people who still believe in it. We held a 'family gathering' style feast, a big part of slavic culture, in our studios.

By the end of the project we had collected a lot of data and information and we used all of it to create an 80s style parody news programme/children's show to show the media bias and our personal frustrations and feelings of being misunderstood. We presented this video in an installation showing a typical slavic home and accessories.
